A dead circle of unpaid tithe and how to get out of it

10/04/2020 by pastor Paul Armand

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. (Malachi 3:8-9)

I have heard repeatedly excuses for not being able to pay tithe because it is difficult. I can give it only partially, etc., I am in this situation because of this and that. If it gets better, I’ll pay. However, few fully live up to their promises.

As a rule, however, believers have ended up in trouble because they have not given tithes and gifts in the past!

Human being who is in this situation leaves God to the last place, pays first back his debts to others, makes agreements with the bank etc.

God gets only promises.

However, if something happens to your health or loved ones, the first thing is to turn to the church for intercession.

From verse 9 it is clear that God personally curses anyone who does not pay tithes and offerings. It is better to believe in God, because accidents happen without a warning.

Go hungry but make things right with God to break out of this curse that has besieged you! And you have to pay back a full tithe and also bring donations to spread Christianity.

Make a plan to pay tithes back in arrears as you do in the bank!

To those skeptics who believe that tithing belonged to the OT here is a bit of food for thought. For in NT God changed nothing but a sacrifice, for the sacrifice of Jesus was brought once and for all!

Mt 23:23 “Yes, woe upon you, Pharisees, and you other religious leaders—hypocrites! For you tithe down to the last mint leaf in your garden, but ignore the important things—justice and mercy and faith. Yes, you should tithe, but you shouldn’t leave the more important things undone. (TLB)

God comes first, whether you believe it or not.

Surrender to God and resist your lusts and foolishness!

God guarantees that then your life and health will change for the better!
